coronavirus Update from Pastor Daryl

Dear Church Family,

We are excited and grateful to resume regular in-person worship services offering both the regular service and children’s ministry for ages 0- to 12-years. Please join us if you are able, and please pray for a blessed time together!

Please also be prepared for things to operate a little bit differently than in the past. For the time being we are implementing the state’s Coronavirus guidelines for houses of worship. Specifically, we have:

-spaced out our sanctuary seating so family units will have additional separation

-replaced our typical food and coffee with prepackaged, single-serve snacks and bottled water

-cleaned/sanitized frequently used surfaces, including a deep clean of our children’s ministry

We are also asking those who attend to:

-refrain from personal contact—fist or elbow bumps instead of hugs

-maintain a respectful distance from others

-take whatever personal precautions you are comfortable with, such as wearing a mask,

wash/sanitize hands, staying home if you feel sick or are high risk, etc.

We will also have some hand sanitizer and disposable masks available.

Finally, know that we are not taking these precautions out of fear, but out of love. Romans chapters 13 and 14 give us a biblical mandate to be good citizens in our community, and to show love to others. And in all of this, we desire to honor the Lord and worship together, not forsaking the assembling of the church as Hebrews 10 instructs us. We appreciate all your prayers and look forward to worshiping together!

by His grace,

Pastor Daryl
